Consignment note is a document of proof of the conclusion and content of a contract of carriage in rail, road, air, sea and combined transport. In maritime and inland waterway transport, the bill of lading takes the place of the consignment note. The information may vary. There are regulations which must be contained in a consignment note so that a consignment note in the customary sense can be concluded from the document. The consignment note should contain the following information (§ 515 HGB): - Place and day of the exhibition- - Name and address of the shipper - Name of the ship - Name and address of consignor - Unloading port and destination - the name and address of the consignee and any registered address - the nature of the goods and their externally recognizable constitution and condition- - Dimension, number or weight of the goods and durable and legible marks, - the freight owed upon delivery - costs incurred up to delivery - a note concerning the freight payment - Number of copies of the consignment note http://www.tis-gdv.de/tis/bedingungen/trpdoku/inhalt.htm

Due to different spellings in the name or address of a company in the waybill, this can occur several times in the database. The function for grouping several companies offers the possibility to combine them to one again. This makes the statistics with suppliers, customers, products and shipments more complete. However, different companies can also be grouped together, for example to view the data of a group.
Company Transparency offers a deep insight into company activities. The database is searched for shipments from a specific company. The contents of bills of lading such as suppliers, customers, purchased/sold products, consignments and geographical areas are processed statistically so that an environment of this company is shown.

Harmonised system (HS) The first six digits of the customs tariff and TARIC code numbers have been regulated worldwide since 1988 by the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in the form of the HS nomenclature, i.e. the structure of the customs tariff is identical for the first six digits in almost all countries involved in world trade. HS is currently used in 176 countries. A revision takes place regularly (so far 1996, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017). Combined Nomenclature (CN) The "Combined Nomenclature" is published as a Regulation in the Official Journal of the Community in October each year and regulates the first eight digits of the customs tariff or TARIC and the rates of duty for the following year. This eight-digit nomenclature cannot be changed for one year and applies in both the EU and the associated countries (BG, RO, TR, etc.). Taric Tariff Intégré Communautaire/ Tariff intégré des Communautés européennesThe Taric, the customs tariff of the European Communities, is identical to the CN in the first eight digits. So far there is uniform labelling for customs clearance and statistics. However, the Taric is subdivided by the Taric subitems (from the ninth digit). The ninth and tenth digits encode Community measures such as anti-dumping regulations, duty suspensions or tariff quotas. he eleventh digit of the code number is used for national purposes, if this is required, for example, for statistical or VAT reasons (possibly also national prohibitions and restrictions). Normally there is a zero here, then no further subdivision is necessary. The 11-digit goods number must always be entered in an import declaration. 8-digit goods number only has to be entered in the export declaration. The numbers of the Harmonised System (i.e. the first 6 digits) are valid worldwide and the numbers of the combined nomenclature (i.e. the first 8 digits) are valid within the European Union. (Source: Eurostat) Data is called in ABRAMS world trade wiki via the up to 6-digit HS code. The analyses are based on the selected HS code.
